The project is promoted in Italy by DLTM&nbsp;\u2013 Distretto Ligure delle Tecnologie Marine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The technical consultation focused on the BLUE PORTS certification scheme to support the ecological and digital transition of the port system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The main topics addressed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Optimal validity period of the certification<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Frequency of review of the scheme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Conditions for the renewal of the certification<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Strategies to enhance and disseminate the certification scheme in Italy and Europe<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Technical Committee, chaired by DLTM, saw the active participation of representatives of the University of Genoa, Liguria Region, Alfa Liguria, Faimm, Assarmatori and Polo ForMare, whose contribution was fundamental in bringing to the table the needs and contributions of the main players in the port ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The comparison resulted in the validation of a flexible and adaptable scheme to the needs of port area administrators and technicians, and highlighted the need for continuous stakeholder involvement to ensure the effectiveness of the certification scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, there was strong interest in promoting the recognition of the BLUE PORTS brand at national and transnational level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next steps: implementation and evaluation of the pilot courses, presentation of the results and opportunities offered by BLUE PORTS, capitalization of the model through EU and national&nbsp;funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>on behalf of the BLUE PORTS Consortium, the DLTM would like to thank @Alesso Tei (Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Genova), @Jacopo Ricciardi (Regione Liguria), @Beatrice Bazzica (Faimm), @Cesare Crocini (Assarmatori Industry), @Stefano Rota (Alfa Liguria) and @Elisa Van Engelenhoven (Polo ForMare &#8211; Confitarma Industry) for their valuable interventions in support of the project objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BLUE PORTS is not just a project, but a shared vision for a more sustainable, digital and resilient port ecosystem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The third BLUE PORTS National Technical Committee meeting in Italy ended with success on May 2025.
