The event brought together the entire BLUE PORTS consortium and members of the Georgian National Technical Committee, including the Batumi State Maritime Academy, the Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Poti New Sea Port LLC, Poti APM Terminal, LLC \u201cG&amp;M\u201d Research &amp; Consulting and LAM Shipping Agencies Georgia LLC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keynote presentations delivered by the BLUE PORTS team addressed critical topics, such as the <em>Green Transition in Ports &#8211; Future Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges<\/em> by Prof. Theocharis Tsoutsos (Renewable and Sustainable Energy Lab, Technical University of Crete), <em>Present and Future Green Skills Needs of the Maritime sector<\/em> by Carolina Navarro Correcher (Fundacion de la Comunidad Valenciana para la investigaci\u00f3n, promoci\u00f3n y estudios comerciales de Valenciaport &#8211; FV), <em>BLUE PORTS &#8211; Building Professional Qualifications to Support the Green Transition of Ports<\/em> by Stavroula Tournaki, (ReSEL TUC) and <em>The Added Value of Green Skills Certification for Ports\u2019 Workforce<\/em> by Christos Kariotis (T\u00dcV Hellas\/T\u00dcV NORD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engaging discussions centred on the current landscape of the Georgian ports sector, identifying skill gaps, and strategizing effective mainstreaming of the BLUE PORTS scheme across the country and the broader Black Sea region.
